Guys,
Nick Tikhonov has finished a pretty cool feature which allows to deploy Ignite cluster via Mesos framework. The code has already been merged to sprint-5 and will be available with next release. Documentation article is here - https://dash.readme.io/project/apacheignite/v1.2/docs/mesos-deployment Any comments will be appreciated. --Yakov |
Correct links is https://apacheignite.readme.io/v1.2/docs/mesos-deployment

Guys,
Do I understand correctly that ignite nodes started within Mesos use it's infrastructure to discover each other? Namely, they will discover each other even if multicast is disabled and IP discovery is not explicitly configured? 2015-05-29 3:28 GMT-07:00 Sergey Kozlov <[hidden email]>: > Correct links is https://apacheignite.readme.io/v1.2/docs/mesos-deployment > > On Fri, May 29, 2015 at 1:26 PM, Yakov Zhdanov <[hidden email]> > wrote: > > > Guys, > > > > Nick Tikhonov has finished a pretty cool feature which allows to deploy > > Ignite cluster via Mesos framework. > > > > The code has already been merged to sprint-5 and will be available with > > next release. > > > > Documentation article is here - > > https://dash.readme.io/project/apacheignite/v1.2/docs/mesos-deployment > > > > Any comments will be appreciated. > > > > --Yakov > > > > > > -- > Sergey Kozlov > GridGain Systems > www.gridgain.com > |
By default ignite nodes started with configured IP finder which use Mesos
infrastructure to discover nodes. If nodes started with a non-default configuration then the configuration should explicitly configure discovery. If I configure vm ipfinder, mesos should be still able to add addresses.
Nick, can you check? --Yakov 2015-06-03 12:19 GMT+03:00 Nikolay Tikhonov <[hidden email]>: > By default ignite nodes started with configured IP finder which use Mesos > infrastructure to discover nodes.
