Hello Igniters,
It came to my attention that I am offered to download http://mirror.linux-ia64.org/apache//ignite/2.2.0/apache-ignite-fabric-2.2.0-bin.zip This links look fishy to me, and it doesn't work anyway, unable to connect. Can we please at least kick mirror.linux-ia64.org from the list of mirrors? This is from https://ignite.apache.org/download.cgi Regards, -- Ilya Kasnacheev |
Ilya,
I do not see this mirror in the list. Do you still see it? If yes, we can try filing an INFRA issue in JIRA. D. Dmitriy,
Yes, I still see this mirror in "Selected mirror:" box and it's usually default for me. However it looks that it is up today and I'm able to download Ignite from it. I wonder what's long term status of this mirror though. Regards, -- Ilya Kasnacheev 2017-10-09 21:08 GMT+03:00 Dmitriy Setrakyan <[hidden email]>: > Ilya, > > I do not see this mirror in the list. Dmitry,
I assume that the problem on the download page [1], because: 1) The *default* link to the latest release is: http://mirror.linux-ia64.org/apache//ignite/2.2.0/apache-ignite-fabric-2.2.0-bin.zip instead of: https://archive.apache.org/dist/ignite/2.2.0/apache-ignite-2.2.0-src.zip like the other release links. 2) Button “Selected mirror + change” (below the table) doesn’t work properly: it changes link only to the latest release. The other release links always refer to https://archive.apache.org/dist/ignite/* [1] https://ignite.apache.org/download.cgi On Tue, Oct 10, 2017 at 12:26 PM, Ilya Kasnacheev <[hidden email] > wrote: > Dmitriy, > > Yes, I still see this mirror in "Selected mirror:" box and it's usually > default for me. Vyacheslav,
1) That's correct case. All download links except newest version should point to archive. 2) That's correct case. You can change mirror only for newest version. Archived versions have no mirrors. See https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-2964 for details.
