Guys,
I wonder if someone from this list is still maintaining the Ignite component in Bigtop. I am a bit busy with 1.0 release, but we have this long standing issue https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-1809 which needs to be addressed. Mostly, the questions are around the tests - removing the component is easy. Appreciate if someone can look at it. Also, the official maintainer on record is Sergey Vladykin, in case it was unclear ;) Cos |
Cos,
I'm a bit out of the loop here lately. I think Ivan Veselovsky will clarify what happens. Hi, Konstantin,
let's please clarify, what is our current plan regarding the BigTop tests for Ignite (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-1821): shall we remaster GridGain test (./bigtop-tests/smoke-tests/gridgain-hadoop/TestGridGainHadoop.groovy) for Ignite ? --ivan On Tue, Aug 4, 2015 at 11:41 AM, Sergi Vladykin <[hidden email]> wrote: > Cos, > > I'm a bit out of the loop here lately. It's really up to you guys - you're the experts! If you feel that Ignite can
be smoked by other means - we can just drop the test, but we need to have a way to test the cluster. So, perhaps having a separate test isn't a bad idea after all.
