The Apache Ignite Community is pleased to announce the release of
Apache Ignite 2.8.0.


Apache Ignite® is an in-memory computing platform for transactional,
analytical, and streaming workloads delivering in-memory speeds at
petabyte scale.

Apache Ignite community rolled out more than 1900 changes in 2.8.0
that enhanced almost all the components of the platform. With
thousands of changes contributed to Apache Ignite 2.8.0 it’s possible
to overlook some of the improvements but hopefully, this blog post can
convince you to upgrade to this version sooner than later.
